Originally from Romania, the grape variety was obtained by crossing Cardinal x Regina. Currently it is grown in Romania, Greece, South Italy and other Mediterranean countries. Used exclusively for the table grape market.

COMMENT ON THE CLONE
Standard clone of high vigor, high and constant production. High fertility. Suitable for different types of soils. Recommended training systems: expanded with short prunings. Very early biotype, evidence incompatibility phenomena if grafted on Kober 5BB. Excellent resistance to transport and for conservation.
