GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Purchases and, more generally, orders placed by Customers with TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola through this website are governed by these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. CUSTOMER REGISTRATION
In order to use the e-commerce service provided by TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola, the Customer must first register on the website. Registration can be completed on the webpage http://www.truant.wine/iscriviti/, where the Customer is required to enter personal details, a valid email address, and a password, which must be carefully stored.
The data provided by the Customer will be processed by TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola in full compliance with applicable laws, as specified in the Privacy Policy.
2. PURCHASE PROCEDURE
All products available for purchase are listed in the catalogue accessible at www.truant.wine/prodotti/.
For each product, the following information is provided:
a) the technical data sheet and product description;
b) a representative image accompanying the product description, which is purely indicative and illustrative and may differ from the final product in terms of color, shape, or size;
c) the unit price.
Orders placed via the website www.truant.wine shall be considered finalized only upon receipt of an order confirmation email sent by TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola to the email address provided by the Customer during registration. Customers are advised to print and retain this confirmation.
By placing an order, the Customer declares that they have reviewed all information provided during the purchase process and fully accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The order confirmation email will include the order number, product type and quantity, billing details, and delivery address. Customers are advised to verify the accuracy of this information and promptly notify TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola of any errors.
The Customer may check the status of their orders at any time in their personal account area. Order statuses include: Awaiting payment by bank transfer, cheque, or PayPal; Payment accepted; Payment error; Order processing; Awaiting restock; Cancelled; Refunded; Shipment in progress; Delivered.
If the Customer does not receive the order confirmation email within two business days of placing the order, they are invited to contact TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola at +39 0432 604257.
TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any order. In the event of refusal, the Customer shall not be entitled to any compensation or damages, except for a refund of any amounts already paid.
TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola reserves the right to modify products and prices at any time. Such changes shall not affect orders already placed.
Although the online catalogue is kept up to date, in the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be promptly informed via email.
3. PAYMENTS
TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola accepts the following payment methods:
PayPal
Payments via PayPal are managed directly by PayPal according to its terms. TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola does not have access to the Customer’s credit card details.
Advance Bank Transfer
If this payment method is selected, the Customer must make the transfer on the same day to the following account:

The order reference code must be indicated in the payment description.
Shipment will occur only after the funds have been credited. If payment is not received within three business days, the order will be cancelled.
Cash on Delivery
Payment is made directly to the courier upon delivery by non-transferable cashier’s cheque payable to TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola. For orders up to €600.00, cash payment is also accepted. Exact change is required.
Cash on delivery incurs an additional charge of 3% (minimum €2.60).
4. INVOICING
A separate invoice will be issued for each confirmed order. The invoice will include product prices, applicable VAT, shipping costs, and any additional charges related to the selected payment method.
The invoice will be issued using the details provided during registration and delivered together with the goods.
5. SHIPPING
Orders are shipped via selected express couriers:
within 2 business days of order confirmation for cash on delivery payments;
within 2 business days of payment receipt for advance payments.
Delivery is made on business days only and not to upper floors. Packaging is prepared directly by TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola.
Upon delivery, the Customer must verify the number of packages and the integrity of the packaging. Any discrepancies or damage must be noted in writing upon delivery and promptly reported via the Contact page.
Failure to follow this procedure will prevent any subsequent claims.
6. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Product defects are governed by Articles 1490–1495 of the Italian Civil Code and, for consumers, by Legislative Decree 206/2005.
Defective products must be returned complete with invoice and order details to TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola, Via Nazionale 10, 33038 San Daniele del Friuli (UD), Italy.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless the defect is confirmed.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TRUANT Società Semplice Agricola shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by couriers, force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without penalty, in accordance with Legislative Decree 206/2005.
Withdrawal must be communicated in writing via registered letter. Returned products must be intact, unused, and in original packaging. Refunds will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method.
9. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
All contracts are governed by Italian law.
Disputes involving VAT-registered Customers shall be submitted exclusively to the Court of Udine.
Disputes involving Consumers shall be subject to the competent court pursuant to Article 63 of Legislative Decree 206/2005.
