Originally from Romagna, where the grape variety is intensively cultivated, it is scarcely and sporadically diffused in Emilia and in other Italian wine growing areas. Used exclusively for wine making, it provides a straw yellow wine, not particularly rich in aromatic. Suitable for the production of still wines, but also of sparkling wines.

Medium, pentagonal, pentalobate, narrow V-shaped peziolar sinus with overlapping edges, narrow V-shaped lateral sinuses with overlapping edges, small U-shaped lower lateral sinuses. Not very pronounced teeth.

Italian clone of high vigor, abundant and constant production. Remarkable fertility. Suitable for fresh and fertile soils. Recommended training systems: GDC and CASARSA with medium - short prunings. Biotype sensitive to spring frost, tolerant against wind and drought.
