ORIGIN

 

Originally from California, the grape variety is one of the most popular table varieties. It is currently grown in Italy, Chile, California and Argentina. Used exclusively for the table grape market.

LEAF

Medium, pentalobate, open U-shaped peziolar sinus, upper lateral sinuses with overlapping edges, well marked lower lateral sinuses. Acute teeth.

CLUSTER

Big, conical - pyramidal, winged, compact.

GRAPE

Big, regular, spheroidal, pruinose skin, purple red colour.

COMMENT ON THE CLONE

Standard clone of high vigor, high and regular production. Medium fertility. Suitable for different types of soils. Recommended training systems: expanded with medium prunings. Biotype sensitive to oidium and downy mildew. Good resistance to transport and excellent for conservation.
