Originally from Alsace, also known as Muskat Ottonel, it belongs to the great Muscat family. The grape variety is grown mainly in Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Serbia. Used exclusively for wine making, it produces remarkable wines used for desserts.

Constituted by the Geisenheim Institute, German clone of high vigor, good and constant production. Good fertility. Suitable for hilly, calcareous and skeletal soils. Recommended training systems: GUYOT, SYLVOZ, CASARSA with long prunings. Biotype with a good tolerance to botrytis and cold winter.
