Originally from Emilia, the grape variety is grown in the province of Reggio Emilia and Modena, it is one of the most classic Emilian Lambruschi. Used exclusively for wine making, the wine obtained has a bright ruby red colour, with a slight characteristic aroma, with a sweet taste. It is bottled young in order to obtain an almost dry and sparkling wine.

COMMENT ON THE CLONE
Italian clone very vigorous, abundant and constant production. Good and regular fertility. Suitable for fresh and clayey plains where you can irrigate. Recommended training systems: CASARSA or GDC with short prunings due to its excellent basal fertility. Biotype with high production with medium - long shoots, subject to green millerandage, good resistance to botrytis.
