Originally from the hybridization of the European vine with the American vine, the grape variety had its notoriety when with the appearance of phylloxera it proved to be one of the most resistant grape varieties. Among the many characteristics it is considered an ecological grape, as being a direct producer hybrid does not need any fungicide treatment. Its grapes are the earliest of all table grapes. Currently it is known in Italy as the synonym for Fragola Nera. Used exclusively for the table grape market.
