Originally from France, more precisely in the Burgundy area, the grape variety has characteristics very similar to Chardonnay, among which its precocity. Used exclusively for wine making, usually in blends with Pinot Noir and other red varieties.

COMMENT ON THE CLONE
Italian clone of poor vigor, abundant and constant production. Good fertility. Suitable for different types of soils. Recommended training systems: little tree with short prunings. Early biotype, suitable for cultivation in cold regions and high altitudes, good resistance to cold.
