ORIGIN

 

Originally from California, the grape variety was introduced in Italy in 1997. Currently it is also grown in Italy, Chile, California. Used exclusively for the table grape market.

 

LEAF

 

Medium - large, pentagonal, pentalobate, open peziolar sinus, closed upper lateral sinuses, open lower lateral sinuses. Medium teeth.

 

CLUSTER

 

Big, conical, winged, loose.

 

GRAPE

 

Big, ovoid, pruinose skin, blue - black colour.

COMMENT ON THE CLONE

 

Standard clone of medium vigor, abundant production. High fertility. Suitable for different types of soils. Recommended training systems: arbor, spurred cordon with medium prunings. Biotype sensitive to infertility and to the millerandage in the cold and rainy spring, excellent resistance to transports and for conservation.
